(CU News) - As a child, Samuel J. Seymour was away from his home for the first time. He was traveling with his father on a business trip to Washington, DC, a city crowded with soldiers and men with guns. He was a little nervous and scared at the sight of the soldiers in such an unfamiliar setting.
To put him at ease, his nurse decided to take him to a play, and President Abraham Lincoln himself would be there. It was an event he would never forget...
